VP, HUMAN RESOURCES

Responsible for regional Talent Services Delivery Strategy; design, direct and evaluate programs related to Acquisition and Selection, Workforce Planning and Position Management, Compensation and Benefits, Wellbeing Career Development and Succession Strategies, Culture and Engagement, DEI, Labor Relations, Performance Management and Retention of Stakeholders, Education and Training, Occupational Health services, Joint Commission and other Regulatory Compliance Requirements, and the Stakeholder Rewards Program. In doing so, develops and oversees programs designed to maintain a top workplace environment, retain and motivate Stakeholders as well as comply with all labor, equal employment opportunity and employee relations statutes and regulations. Is a member of the regional Executive Team and responsible for the performance and service delivery of the regional Talent Team/Department. 

Main Duties:

1.     Understands key business issues, operates as a strategic partner and provides forward-looking counsel to business leadership in the areas of organizational development and performance, applying reward and recognition strategies, succession planning, change management, maintain competitive benefits and pay practices, HR employment practices, occupational health, employee relations, diversity, interpretation of HR policy, and compliance. This includes regular presentations to the C-Suite on the key Talent Metrics with strategic solutions or recommended course of action.

2.     Design and deploy the regional employer of choice strategy and drives a Top Workplace environment through baseline culture, engagement and/or organization health surveys. Outcomes proven by attraction and retention of a high performing workforce, career development and succession strategies, and development programs such as leadership and culture.

3.     Leads and guides a Talent Team of various Talent Leadership positions, Talent Director, Talent Business Partners, Talent Operations Partners and Talent Coordinators to form collaborative, business relationships with the business divisions they support in order to deliver human resource consulting services to their constituents, including diagnosis of human capital challenges and priorities, identifying and advising on appropriate solutions to human capital issues, and resolution of employee relations issues.

4.     Ensures compliance to US Federal and state employment laws and regulatory Human Resources requirements as well as Joint Commission standards. Develops effective policies and programs for Employee Relations; performance management, progressive discipline process, Compliance hotline calls/ investigations, training on various topics such a Anti Bullying/Harassment. Ensure the Stakeholder Policies Handbook and Stakeholder Code of Conduct are updated and deployed annually as needed.

5.     Participates in enterprise wide Talent initiatives, collaborating with counterparts. Active member of Talent Enterprise COE Projects, Organizational Change Initiatives, Workday and other HRIS business processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required (Recruitment and Selection, Employee Relations, Employee Compensation, Organization Development, Leadership and Culture, Engagement, Reward and Recognition, Computer Science, Business or related field, preferred.)
  • Master’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred (Recruitment and Selection, Employee Relations, Employee Compensation, Organization Development, Leadership and Culture, Engagement, Reward and Recognition, Computer Science, Business or related field, preferred.)
  • Approximately ten years progressively responsible related work experience, with at least two years in Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, analysis, organization, planning and presentation skills
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office with emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred
  • Society for Human Resource Management certification; PHR or SPHR preferred
