Job Description:

Hours: 2nd shift, 2:00pm - 10:30pm

The Environmental Services Supervisor works as a guiding member of the Southeastern Environmental Services team which provides non-medical sanitation support as a contribution to positive patient outcomes. To help maintain a high quality standard of hospital environmental services by keeping informed of the immediate conditions of all assigned areas, this individual supervises and motivates the department stakeholders to ensure all schedules are completed efficiently and accurately. Performs special projects as assigned and reports directly to the Environmental Services Manager.

Education / Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Three years Environmental Services experience required

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred

  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Micro Soft applications - strongly desired

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Knowledge of chemicals and chemical safety

  • Thorough knowledge of equipment used within the department

  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Micro Soft applications - strongly desired
