Job Description:

The Supervisor of Clinical Scheduling has the responsibility of assisting the manager in the day-to-day operations of the department; main responsibility is to ensure daily productivity goals are met and managing to these expectations with both expected and unexpected staff outages. Must serve as a role model for professional excellence in the administration of patient care and staff (inner and inter departmental) relations.

Minimum Qualifications:

In addition to meeting the requirements and skills of a New Patient/Clinic Scheduling Coordinator, the Scheduling Supervisor must have the following:

  • High School Diploma; College graduate preferred
  • Two (2) years in the CTCA Scheduling Department preferred or minimum of two (2) years   experience in the healthcare field and knowledge of medical terminology
  • At least one (1) year of supervisory or lead experience
  • Strong project management and problem-solving and process improvement skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; strong interpersonal and team-building skills
  • Strong IT skills, especially related to the scheduling and SCM systems
