The Employer Engagement Specialist manages in-network employer relationships to self-funded employers in Atlanta and surrounding key markets. This role’s primary objective is to grow patient volume via employer referrals by working with employer’s and their vendors to develop a direct referral process to CTCA. The Employer Engagement Specialist establishes new relationships and manages existing relationships with employer’s HR and Benefit leaders. The position requires the ability to articulate our Employer Engagement value proposition to mid-upper level executives and to confidently address their questions and objections. The position is responsible for generating employer patient referrals for CTCA Atlanta from new and previous employer partners and to support their employee population with oncology-based education, awareness and prevention offerings. It requires innovation and the ability to develop strong internal relationships across a matrix organization and cross-functional teams.
This position must identify and report unmet needs and opportunities from the marketplace to the Employer Engagement Manager and assist with designing and implementing new offerings and program enhancements. This will also include working with employer’s program partners and vendors to identify employees with risk factors, criteria for screenings or recently diagnosed through programs and services such as health concierge, disease management, on-site clinics, 2nd opinions and health coaches. This position works closely with contracting teams as well as hospital marketing and executive teams including weekly reporting and document prep and tracking. Must be comfortable and proficient in presenting to groups and speaking with employees about their cancer benefit options at industry events. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and work well with teams located throughout the country. The position requires approximately 30% travel.
