Utilizing advanced technology including natural language processing (NLP), machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI) and a comprehensive suite of professional services, Vidence provides data visualization, insights, and data analytics to Consortium Fellows and others in the medical community to support quality improvement, precision medicine and clinical advancement.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer who will play a critical role in creating and advancing our enterprise applications in a fast-paced, agile environment. This developer will be a creative, self-starter, who works well with a small team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance existing custom applications.
  • Design and develop new applications to meet the demands of the business.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance the quality and performance of server-side code.
  • Test, support, and document custom written applications.
  • Work with team and architect to analyze requirements, define specifications, design architecture, and develop quality, reusable code.
  • Participate in project planning: identifying milestones, deliverables and resource requirements, track activities, and task execution.
  • Design and develop test plans, detailed specifications, documentation, and process flow charts for programming execution.
  • Participate and daily standups with the development team.
  • Conduct peer reviews of team member’s code.
  • Mentor members of the team.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of .NET/C# experience in software design/development of server and web applications
  • Microsoft Certified Developer preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree (or additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree)

Required Language, Tools, & Skills

  • Strong understanding and experience with object-oriented analysis & design, multi-layer architecture, and programming patterns.
  • Experience with web server optimization and scalability.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of development frameworks and best practices.
  • .NET Framework (4.5 and below), ASP.NET MVC, .NET CORE, Entity Framework, Visual Studio (2019 and Below), LINQ
  • Web APIs, REST APIs, Web Services, Web Forms, WPF, Git, SVN, TFS, GitHub
  • SQL Server (2019 and below), T-SQL, Stored Procedures
  • JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript Librairies (Angular, Vue, React)
  • Cloud Services (AWS or Azure)
    • ECS, EC2, CloudWatch, Lambda Functions, S3 Buckets, CD/CD, etc.
    • Azure Functions, Azure SQL, App Services, Storage Accounts, CI/CD, etc.
