The Nurse Manager of Virtual Clinic Operations will have responsibility of managing the day-to-day care management operations of the Virtual Clinic Team, managing both clinical and service targets. The role is responsible for delivering high quality clinical care and best-in-class experiences for our patients. Reporting to the Director of Virtual Clinic Operations, the Nurse Manager of Virtual Clinic operations will be highly organized, detailed-oriented and willing to roll up his/her sleeves to maintain our exceptional quality of care and ultimately improve patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide direct leadership to a decentralized team of registered nurses, medical assistants, and other care team members. Manage Virtual Clinic team members to achieve key measures of success, while enhancing clinical care and delivering an industry-leading customer experience. Build, lead, and manage growing and high-performing service center culture of accountability with structured coaching and ongoing career development, service focused training, performance management, and quality assurance program management, all while ensuring high employee satisfaction.
  • Deliver high quality clinical care to patients through the Virtual Clinic platform. Answer chats, calls (voice and video), triage symptoms, and coordinate care plans with office-based care team. Proactively communicate with patients throughout their journey, increasing adherence to medication and treatment plans, as well as improving the overall experience. Develop and deliver evidence-based care protocols and steer care to highest quality and lower cost care providers.

  • Proactively initiate and drive change in clinical protocols, processes, tools and capabilities. Identify training opportunities, workflow enhancements, new patient-facing capabilities, and new measurement tools.

  • Build and foster relationships within a matrix organization structure to proactively resolve issues, drive efficiencies, and champion the service-centric strategy in a healthcare delivery environment.

  • This role requires a travel commitment of potentially 25-40% early on and depending upon geography of clinic assets, network, and call center operations.

Skills, Education and Additional Information

  • Currently Licensed as an RN in Texas or other NLC State - required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Oncology care management experience strongly preferred. At least 3 years of oncology nursing experience required.
  • Experience managing clinical teams and a proven track record of building high performing teams and retaining top-notch talent. Experience in a remote environment is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills and comfort using several programs at once
  • Entrepreneurial, flexible, self-starter
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation to effectively facilitate remote resources
  • Tenacity and relentless energy in developing solutions amidst ambiguity and complexity
