Job Description:

Plans, organizes and oversees the operational activities for the technical areas of the Imaging Department.  Assists the technologists and stakeholders in the day to day operations of the Imaging Department. Assists the Director of Imaging in ensuring compliance with accrediting/regulatory agencies.  Creates effective working relationships with all stakeholders.  Participates in performance improvement initiatives.  Assumes authority and responsibility in the absence of the Director of Imaging. Represents the Imaging Department, as assigned, at various meetings and committees.  Demonstrates the Mission, Vision and Values of CTCA.

Education/Experience Level:

  • BA/BS in a health related field or business required
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Health related field preferred
  • 5 years Imaging
  • 3 years Supervisor experience
  • ARRT or CNMT licensed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of budget, business planning and health care finance
  • Able to interact with a wide variety of individuals and handle several complex situations simultaneously
  • Demonstrates the ability to utilize critical thinking and apply sound clinical judgment and assessment skills for decision making

  • Strong communication skills
  • Must possess sound clinical knowledge
  • Responsible for contributing to a moral environment that encourages, respectful interactions with colleagues, support of peers, and identification of issues that need to be addressed
  • Proven leadership in previous roles
  • Relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills
  • Strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation and detail oriented perspective
  • A strategic planner with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus
  • Ability to lead and work with peers in a team effort
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Capability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays pursuant with industry demands
  • Proficient in Imaging related software programs
