Position Overview

The Clinic Manager is a empowered to direct the delivery of personalized, comprehensive outpatient care to oncology patients in the New Patient Clinic, Specialty Clinics, QOL Clinic, Pain Management Clinic and Medical Oncology. Will be responsible to provide leadership to licensed and unlicensed staff through delegation of duties and coordination with other disciplines, as well as provide for required education and training. Has responsibility to provide guidance and direct interaction with patients, their caregivers and their families as it pertains to their experiences in dealing with clinic staff members. To provide clinical assessment services to referral sources, families and patients to determine the appropriate level of care needed for potential services within Cancer Treatment Centers of America continuum of care.  To help families and patients have a better understanding and orientation of Cancer Treatment Centers of America.  To field any concerns or questions referral sources, families and/or patients may have to optimize the disposition of the patient and to act as the patient/family advocate throughout the course of the treatment. Oversees daily staffing and addresses stakeholder issues as needed. Completes annual reviews as assigned.

 

Key Position Qualifications

  • BSN in Nursing or Bachelor’s in Business or related field
  • Oncology experience preferred
  • 3 years’experience in Care Management, Clinic Nursing or process flow, outpatient physician office or hospital administration preferred
  • 2 years supervisory experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Prior admissions or intake experience
