This position is responsible for the coordination of the systems/services required for the management of the Registered Nurses. The Team Lead RN functions as an advocate and contact person for patient, family, healthcare team members and stakeholders to ensure continuity of care and optimal clinical and resource outcomes. The Team Lead RN is a professional caregiver who serves as a clinical expert and liaison in coordinating patient care. The responsibilities include day-to-day operations, coordination and delivery of all patient care services. This person serves as a role model for professional excellence in the administration of patient care and staff relations. The Team Lead RN will utilize the nursing process, communication skills, and problem solving techniques to deliver quality patient care. The Team Lead RN will also be responsible for the knowledge and technical skill needed to operate a variety of mechanical devices to accomplish this task.
Key Position Qualifications
- BSN in Nursing preferred
- Current Georgia RN Licensure
- 3 years clinical oncology or radiology experience
- ACLS/CPR Required
