The Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy Staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for providing patient focused health care for hematologic malignancy and stem cell transplant patients. The staff nurse will utilize the nursing process, communication skills, and problem solving techniques to deliver quality care. The staff nurse will also be responsible for the knowledge and technical skill needed to operate a variety of mechanical devices to accomplish this task. The staff nurse is accountable for the age groups (average age group populations includes adults and geriatrics) as defined in the scope of care.
Key Position Qualifications
- Current State Georgia Registered Nurse License
- BSN required or enrolled in a BSN program within 6 months of hire and completed within 3 years of date of hire
- CPR Certified Required
- ACLS Certified Preferred
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certified within 6 months of hire
