Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the staff pharmacist is responsible for all services, both distributive and clinical, provided by the Pharmacy. Fills orders for parenteral and enteral medications, monitors patient drug therapies, and provides drug information.   May be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the director in his/her absence.  Directs and supervises the work of technicians.

Key Position Qualifications

 

  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy 
  • Licensed by the Georgia State Board of Pharmacy
  • Bachelor degree in Pharmacy; Pharm D preferred 
  • Minimum of 2 years institutional pharmacy experience or strong interest in institutional and oncology pharmacy
