CANCER TREATMENT CENTERS OF AMERICA (CTCA) Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) is a national network of regional, destination hospitals specializing in complex and advanced-stage cancer care. CTCA's newest hospital is located in Newnan, Georgia which is located in the Metro Atlanta region. It is a 226,000-square-foot, all digital facility focused exclusively on treating cancer. It includes 50 beds, ICU rooms, surgical suites, state-of-the-art radiation and infusion therapy departments, outpatient clinic rehabilitation and physical therapy department and onsite residential accommodations for outpatients and their families. We are currently seeking dedicated Stakeholders to help us fulfill our Mission and provide the Mother Standard of Care® to patients in the Southeast.
The registered professional physical therapist delivers individual comprehensive care to patients through the rehabilitation department, utilizing therapeutic use of self, innovative technology, and collaboration among therapists. Responsible for providing leadership and mentoring to other rehabilitation staff members, as demonstrated by coordinating, delegating, and guiding patient care to achieve an optimal level of function for each patient through treatment and education.
Performs and provides therapeutic rehabilitation services, tests, education and treatment coordination; documents treatment and outcomes and inputs appropriate charges in compliance with the state practice act. Evaluates patient for treatment and designs and documents an age appropriate treatment plan that includes a time frame, goals and assessment of patient's rehabilitation potential following a referral from a qualified practitioner. Consults physician when necessary about clarification of orders, treatment plan, patient outcomes and recommendations for durable medical equipment.
