CANCER TREATMENT CENTERS OF AMERICA (CTCA) Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) is a national network of regional, destination hospitals specializing in complex and advanced-stage cancer care. CTCA's newest hospital is located in Newnan, Georgia which is located in the Metro Atlanta region. It is a 226,000-square-foot, all digital facility focused exclusively on treating cancer. It includes 50 beds, ICU rooms, surgical suites, state-of-the-art radiation and infusion therapy departments, outpatient clinic rehabilitation and physical therapy department and onsite residential accommodations for outpatients and their families. We are currently seeking dedicated Stakeholders to help us fulfill our Mission and provide the Mother Standard of Care® to patients in the Southeast.


The Registered Occupational Therapist delivers individualized comprehensive care to patients with the goal of empowering the patients to remain at their optimal level of independence and functioning. Uses innovative treatment techniques, real life simulation, and collaborator process to establish a plan of care that will address each patient's physical, social, and emotional concerns. The overall goal is to assist patients in reaching the highest quality of independence possible.


Performs and provides therapeutic rehabilitation services, tests, education, and treatment coordination; documents treatment and outcomes and inputs appropriate charges in compliance with the state practice act. Evaluates patients for treatment and designs/documents an age appropriate treatment plan that includes a time frame, goals, and assessment of patient's rehabilitation potential following a referral from a qualified practitioner. Consults physicians when necessary about clarification of orders, treatment plan, patient outcomes, and recommendations for durable medical equipment.


  • Must have a BS or MS degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
  • Current certification with NBCOT
  • Minimum 3-5 years of OT experience. Additional experience in oncology rehab highly desirable.
