CANCER TREATMENT CENTERS OF AMERICA (CTCA) Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) is a national network of regional, destination hospitals specializing in complex and advanced-stage cancer care. The CTCA model integrates state-of-the-art treatments and technologies with nutrition, naturopathic medicine, mind-body medicine, oncology rehabilitation and spiritual support. CTCA Stakeholders form the backbone of the CTCA experience; and their energy, and passion, creates a home of hope and healing to cancer patients across America. CTCA's newest hospital is located in Newnan, Georgia which is located in the Metro Atlanta region. It is a 226,000-square-foot, all digital facility focused exclusively on treating cancer. It includes 50 beds, ICU rooms, surgical suites, state-of-the-art radiation and infusion therapy departments, outpatient clinic rehabilitation and physical therapy department and onsite residential accommodations for outpatients and their families. We are currently seeking dedicated Stakeholders to help us fulfill our Mission and provide the Mother Standard of Care® to patients in the Southeast. Performs all mammographic processes/procedures in compliance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA). Obtains pertinent and thorough history from every patient regarding breast health issues and relays this information to the interpreting radiologist. Performs MQSA quality control/assurance tests and responds accordingly to 'out-of- compliance' scores/levels. Successfully troubleshoots mammography equipment and processors. Communicates effectively with physicians and ancillary hospital staff, and provides exceptional customer service to patients and families. Produces quality radiographs with minimal repeats. Selects proper technical factors for quality radiographs on an individual patient basis. Provides patient care with compassion. Takes call on evenings and weekends as listed on the call schedule, and returns to perform emergency patient exams when called. Authenticates all physician orders prior to exam. Documents patient exam information in the Radiology Information System, indicating correct begin and end times for patient exams. Documents film usage in the Radiology Information System. Facilitates procurement of necessary forms, consents and documentation to comply with hospital standards. Obtains required signatures, consents, and releases prior to examinations. Obtains pertinent and thorough breast related history and relays to the radiologist.
