CANCER TREATMENT CENTERS OF AMERICA (CTCA)Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) is a national network of regional, destination hospitals specializing in complex and advanced-stage cancer care. The CTCA model integrates state-of-the-art treatments and technologies with nutrition, naturopathic medicine, mind-body medicine, oncology rehabilitation and spiritual support. CTCA is building a new hospital in Newnan, Georgia that will be a 226,000-square-foot, all digital facility focused exclusively on treating cancer. It will include 50 beds, ICU rooms, surgical suites, state-of-the-art radiation and infusion therapy departments, outpatient clinic rehabilitation and physical therapy department and onsite residential accommodations for outpatients and their families. We are currently seeking dedicated Stakeholders to help us fulfill our Mission and provide the Mother Standard of Care® to patients in the Southeast.
The housekeeper works as a member of the Environmental Services team providing non-medical sanitation support as a contribution to positive patient outcomes. Position includes regular discharge, patient/guest room, restroom, departmental, and general cleaning as well as other assigned cleaning tasks. All work is done in accordance with standard procedures of the environmental services department.
Vacuum carpets for cleaning and bacteria control before shampooing by using wide area vacuum. Shampoo and/or remove stains from carpet on all carpeted areas throughout the facility leaving carpets clean and with an even appearance. Place wet floor sign, scrub and/or strip. Refinish break rooms, department areas, elevators, kitchens, utility areas, patient rooms, and infusion stations.Scrub the floor with buffer to remove all soil. Clean corners and baseboards prior to laying sealant or finish to base floor materials on all hard surface floors throughout the facility and return floor to glossy appearance. Clean equipment and store properly daily. Check/refill batteries and clean filters daily. Notify supervisor or manager of equipment in need of repair. May perform other duties as assigned.
