CTCA's newest hospital is located in Newnan, Georgia which is located in the Metro Atlanta region. It is a 226,000-square-foot, all digital facility focused exclusively on treating cancer. It includes 50 beds, ICU rooms, surgical suites, state-of-the-art radiation and infusion therapy departments, outpatient clinic rehabilitation and physical therapy department and onsite residential accommodations for outpatients and their families. We are currently seeking dedicated Stakeholders to help us fulfill our Mission and provide the Mother Standard of Care® to patients in the Southeast.
The House Supervisor (HS) is responsible and accountable for coordinating nursing care for optimum patient outcomes. The HS plans, directs and evaluates overall nursing care, coordinates the activities of the nursing units and makes staffing assignments. Monitors and educates the nursing staff. Responds to emergency situations as necessary. The HS is accountable for practicing within the defined scope of practice for the Registered Nurse and is committed to providing safe, quality nursing care.
Identifies patient and staffing issues/needs and sets priorities. Acts as an advocate and coordinator of patient care with other health care personnel and evaluates patient care measures instituted. Establishes priorities of patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment and supplies. Demonstrates appropriate delegation of tasks and duties in directing and coordinating health care team members, patient care and unit activities. Assists in completion of staff schedules and changes, assures adequate staff available to deliver care. Able to establish goals/objectives, prioritize, anticipate issues and implement plans. Serves as a resource for effective clinical management utilizing the nursing process.
