The House Supervisor (HS) is responsible and accountable for coordinating nursing care for optimum patient outcomes. The HS plans, directs and evaluates overall nursing care, coordinates the activities of the nursing units and makes staffing assignments. Monitors and educates the nursing staff. Responds to emergency situations as necessary. The HS is accountable for practicing within the defined scope of practice for the Registered Nurse and is committed to providing safe, quality nursing care.
Current Georgia Registered Nurse licensure
Current CPR and ACLS Certification, ABG Certified (optional)
Completion of ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy class
Minimum of one year of RN charge management experience in the last three years in acute health care setting preferred
Experience with oncology, intensive or emergency care and medical /surgical care desired
Strong background in medical/surgical care and/or intensive care procedures
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills required
