Cancer Treatment Centers of America is currently seeking an Applications Analyst/eLink Developer to join our integration team. This role will be responsible for developing and supporting various clinical and ancillary application interfaces that directly and indirectly impact patient care in a multiple hospital environment.

The successful candidate will provide support to and be responsible for coding HL7 interfaces.She or he will also administrate the interface engine application, ensuring interfaces are operational, alerts are firing correctly, and the application is current with the vendor's patch levels and other recommend system updates.

The ideal candidate has a strong working knowledge of eLink or equivalent HL7 interface engine technology, understands the complexity of integration environments and applications, and is able to communicate the interdependencies and cascading effects of changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent experience
• Experience working with HL7 (health level 7) interfaces
• A minimum of 2 years of HL7 interface engine coding experience
• 2 years minimum experience in a troubleshooting role (e.g., business analyst)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to integrate into a geographically dispersed team environment

Preferred

• Technical specification writing and interface diagraming using Visio or similar tool
• Object Oriented programming experience
• 1 or more years of experience in project management
