The Director of Revenue Cycle leads initiatives to identify, capture and collect itemized charges for Charge Description Masters (CDMs). Partnering with IT and clinical leadership, he or she provides financial thought leadership while supervising CDM interfaces across related billing systems. The Director also improves processes to address third-party payor reimbursement issues, including coding and documentation errors. As part of the Finance team, he or she recommends pricing methodologies, optimization, revenue generation, new service innovation, and guides their implementation. The director oversees the Health Informatics Management department and is charged with developing team expertise, measuring performance and educating stakeholders on revenue capture challenges throughout the organization.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Accounting or Finance.
Must have a minimum of 8 years' experience in healthcare revenue cycle with
Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience.
Experience in payer contracting, reimbursement, coding & compliance, and clinical operations required.
