The AVP, provides thought leadership in areas of quality and risk management, education, medical staffing, occupational medicine, infection control, clinical informatics, process improvement and research, with the explicit goal of improving clinical quality scores overall. To support that goal, the AVP partners with CTCA leadership, IT and physicians to collaboratively develop long-range plans that empower exceptional patient care. The AVP's key responsibility is to drive improvement and performance measures so that CTCA's regulatory compliance, electronic health record integrity, patient safety and licensing standards are met or exceeded.

Key Qualifications

  • BS Degree required, MA Degree in Healthcare or related field preferred.

  • 3-5 years of Quality experience in a Healthcare/Hospital environment and 5 years in management/staff development

  • Previous experience in working with the Joint Commission or related regulatory agencies required.

  • Formal training in Lean thinking and a track record applying it in a healthcare environment. Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

  • Background in clinical research and innovation with experience using clinical software systems.
